About the course
Relatively new to the U.S., European Style Nymphing (ESN) is our go-to technique for tackling technical rivers and streams like the Truckee River. It requires a unique set of skills and gear, but it’s our specialty, and we’re here to teach you.
On a half-day guided trip, we’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of ESN, including casting and dead-drifting techniques to help you catch more fish. With a full-day trip, you'll dive deeper into advanced casting, alternative rigging, fly selection, and how to adapt with dry flies, streamers, and indicators on tightline gear. We’ll even share a few secrets along the way!
