About Adventure Fly Co
At AFC, we offer more than just fishing guides—we’re hosts that will immerse you in the complete Truckee Tahoe fly fishing experience.
For newcomers, we teach you how to think like an angler, guiding you through every step from arriving at the river to gearing up and scouting the water. You’ll learn essential skills, use the right gear, and fish for wild trout against the stunning backdrop of the Truckee River.
And the experience doesn’t stop at fishing. Camp with us and unwind with drinks and snacks by the campfire, while we handle dinner. Staying at our condo? Relax by the pool or hot tub with loved ones before dinner.
Whether you’re here for a single day or a multi-day adventure, we ensure it’s truly unforgettable.
About Jeff
Jeff Sasaki’s career as an Industrial Designer spans decades, with most of it spent creating motocross and mountain bike gear for companies like Fox Racing. Drawing on his expertise in carbon composites, CNC machining, and impact protection, Jeff later founded Element Case in 2010, designing high-end, CNC-machined iPhone cases.
In 2016, Jeff left Element Case to focus on fishing the waters near his home in Truckee, CA. After a few years of 100-plus-days on the water, he combined his design expertise and fly fishing experience to launch MAVRK Fly Fishing, creating premium rods and reels and accessories.
Later, Jeff founded Adventure Fly Co to combine his passion for guiding and teaching modern techniques, while providing his clients with epic fly fishing adventures that the Tahoe basin has to offer.
